John Lemanis, Director
With more than 20 years experience in Australia’s chemical industry, John Lemanis is Oleum’s Director. In this role, he has responsibility for the day-to-day management and leadership of the company.
John is an expert in many facets of industrial chemicals, with in-depth experience and understanding across the needs of the agricultural, personal care, mining and surface coating industries Australia-wide.
When it comes to customer care, John is a firm believer in putting clients first. Customer care and satisfaction is at the heart of every successful company, which is why, at Oleum, John always puts clients first.
It is John’s experience and commitment to superior customer service and support that made him the obvious choice as representative and distributor for the Dow and BASF chemical companies— two of the largest chemical companies in the world.
Prior to establishing Oleum in 2015, John was employed by one of Australia’s leading chemical distributors for 17 years, acting as their Sales and Purchasing Manager.
Melanie Faint, Administration Manager
With over 10 years experience within various administration roles, Melanie Faint is Oleums Administration Manager.
Melanie’s responsibilities include Customer Service/Sales, Accounts receivable/payable, and the day to day tasks that keep our busy office running smoothly.
She has been a part of the Oleum team since day one, and enjoys the challenge of managing an ever growing and busy office.
Adrian Formato, Account Manager / Business Development Manager
Experienced Account Manager with a demonstrated history of working within the Chemical industry. In this role, Adrian is responsible for developing new business and managing existing accounts for the company.
Adrian has an in-depth understanding of the Water and Detergent Industry with his experience of over 5 years. He is a strong sales professional with a Bachelor degree focused in International Business from RMIT University.
Consistently building rapport with new and current clients, Adrian prides himself on developing customer relationships and providing customer satisfaction and service.
Prior to working at Oleum, Adrian was employed by one of the leading chemical and ingredients distributors in the world, acting as an Account Manager with the Water and Detergents Team.
Peter Roberts, Warehouse and Logistics Manager
Peter has had over 30 years experience in warehouse and freight management, specialising in Dangerous goods.
